Rodger Shannon Rodger Shannon was a registered KSHSAA volleyball official for 32 years and an area supervisor for 27 years. He officiated in 26 state tournaments, and called 23 state championship finals matches. In 2003 Rodger was named the National Federation of High Schools Official of the Year, and in 2007 and 2011 the Greater Kansas City Volleyball Official of the Year. He also officiated in several all-star matches, and is widely respected as one of the best officials volleyball has ever had in Kansas.
